The Downtown St. Louis Partnership is the voice of the downtown business community. We work to increase the economic viability and attractiveness of the downtown community as a place to live, work, play, shop and visit.
Mission
The Downtown St. Louis Partnership is a private, membership-based, not-for-profit organization representing large and small businesses, professional firms, community organizations and other interested parties in its efforts to improve the economic vitality and attractiveness of downtown St. Louis. Funded primarily by dues and sponsorships, The Partnership focuses its efforts on advocacy, planning, development and member services.
The Partnership also serves as the manager of the Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District, a non-profit organization that provides enhanced services and programs that make downtown a cleaner, safer, more vibrant place. CID Initiatives, programs and services include Downtown Development & Investment; Business Recruitment & Retention; Housing Development & Marketing; Retail Development; Market Research; Security – Supplemental Police Patrol, Downtown CID Guides and Communications Exchange Network; Beautification & Maintenance – The Clean Team, Graffiti Removal, Sidewalk Cleaning, Landscaping and Plantings; Marketing, Special Events and Banners; and Publications that promote downtown amenities and offerings – Downtown Visitors Guide, Dining Guide, Parking Guide and Progress Report.
