The Downtown St. Louis Community Improvement District Sidewalk Repair Program provides each approved applicant the opportunity for up to 50% reimbursement of the total costs, with a maximum of $5,000.00 per property, for sidewalk repairs to their property(s). Any property owner or authorized agent of any property participating in the Community Improvement District or contracting with the Community Improvement District for services is eligible to apply. Only projects initiated after January 1, 2006 are eligible for reimbursement in the Sidewalk Repair Program. 
Applications will be considered in the order they are received. After all of the current fiscal year allocations have been obligated, reservations will be taken for additional sidewalk repair funds anticipated to be available in the next fiscal year. Each participant in the Sidewalk Repair Program must submit a completed application, on an original application form, obtained from the Downtown St. Louis Partnership. Each application must be accompanied with the following items:
Three (3) written bids from three (3) different· companies for the desired sidewalk repair(s) for each property
A copy of all necessary permits, to perform· desired repairs, from the City of St. Louis
Evidence (i.e. a before and after photograph)· that the desired sidewalk repairs have been completed using materials consistent in color, content, and composition to other immediately adjoining sidewalk areas. Each applicant must submit a completed Sidewalk Repair Program application prior to beginning sidewalk repairs in order to participate in the program. Approved participants in the Sidewalk Repair Program will be reimbursed within forty-five (45) days of the completion of approved sidewalk repairs and submission of all required attachments. A copy of the invoice for the selected bid to perform desired sidewalk repairs and a photograph of the completed improvements shall be submitted as required attachments to the application.
